Collect your mask, snorkel and fins from the DiveCcentre at the end of the Arrival Jetty - complimentary to use for the duration of your stay.
Guided snorkeling trips to a nearby reef by dhoni daily at 1130 hours.

Introduction to Snorkeling
Learn to snorkel in the shallow lagoon before venturing out on the reef. Recommended for beginners and those who wish to refresh their snorkeling skills. Maldives is one of the world’s best destinations for diving with abundant marine life, warm water and excellent visibility year round. Dive into the deep blue and discover some of the planet’s most pristine coral reefs and their inhabitants - big and small. From tiny shrimp and shoals of colourful surgeonfish, to eels and turtles, acrobatic dolphins and magnificent rays, mantas and sharks - Maldives has it all.
Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is located in South Male Atoll with more than 20 excellent dive sites nearby, suitable for both new and experienced divers. Certified divers are spoilt for choice with thila (mountain shaped coral formation) diving, kandu(channel) diving, reef diving and wreck diving. Morning and afternoon dive excursions daily from the Dive Centre, night dives and private dives available on request.
Our Dive Centre, located at the end of the Arrival Jetty, is managed by Ocean Dive Maldives, and is equipped with all the latest diving gear, including Nitrox. Our experienced team of multilingual PADI instructors and dive masters has extensive knowledge of the local dive sites and marine life, and will ensure your Maldivian dive experience is an unforgettable adventure.
Please present your certification card and logbook when you register for diving. Divers must complete a medical questionnaire prior to their first dive.
All divers are advised to refrain from diving 12 hours after international flights and 24 hours before travelling by air, including by seaplane.

The shallow sandy lagoon surrounding Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is a paradise for water sports lovers. The Water Sports Centre, located on the beach near 24 Degrees Restaurant, is equipped with all the latest motorized and non-motorized water sports equipment.
Jet Skiing, Water Skiing, Wake Boarding and Kite Surfing will thrill speed seekers. Catamaran Sailing, Wind Surfing, Paddle Boats and Kayaking will delight those who prefer a slower pace. Parasail for spectacular aerial views of the lagoon and the blue ocean beyond - on a calm day you can even marvel at the coral reefs from above as the lagoon surface turns into a giant magnifying glass - or power through the water like a dolphin on the Seabob for a view below. Or just have fun being towed around on an inflatable fun tube!
Use of non-motorized water sports equipment is complimentary, not including lessons and accompanied catamaran sailing.
Malé, the world's smallest capital city, is reached by a 15-minutes luxury speedboat ride from the resort. This small, exotic and easy-going city buzzes with activity.
Wander through Malé’s winding lanes and explore local shops and markets; view the historic relics at the National Museum; treasure the coral architecture of the 400-year-old Hukuru Miskiiy (Friday Mosque), a protected UNESCO site; take a walk in Sultan Park; and stroll past the former presidential palace. The Munnaaru (Minaret), the Islamic Centre, the shrine of Abul Barakath Yousuf Al-Barberi and the tomb of Mohamed Thakurufaanu offer fascinating insights into the country's unique history.
Tantalize your taste buds with sumptuous samples of Maldivian treats at the local fruit and vegetable market and check out today’s fresh catch at the fish market. If you would like to take home some authentic Maldivian souvenirs, our guide will be delighted to take you to a traditional art and craft shop.

Our seaplane flight allows you to fully appreciate the natural beauty of this picturesque island nation from the air, and it is a view to behold! The plane takes off from the Sea Plane Jetty at end of the Arrival Jetty for a 25-minute flight around North and South Malé Atolls.

Guraidhoo is a bustling yet rustic Maldivian fishing village with a population of around 2000. A local guide provides details of the island's history and way of life, Maldivian culture and tradition. The island offers a vast array of natural vegetation, fruit trees and coconut groves, which add to its many charms.
5 hours escape from 1000 to 1500 hours for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 guests. Select a fine wine or bubbly of your choice from our cellar, and head out on a luxury cruise around the lagoon in a traditional dhoni. Watching the sun set from the water is one of life's exquisite experiences, and nowhere are the sunsets more vivid than here on Emboodhu Finolhu. Sunset is also a good time to spot dolphins; sightings are possible but not guaranteed.

Private sunset cruises can be arranged upon request. Fishing is the lifeline of the Maldives. It has been the livelihood of people for centuries and still determines the rhythm of life in this island nation. The methods of fishing vary depending on the type of fish and the time of the day. Night fishing, or sunset fishing, allows you to take in the glorious spectrum of sunset while discovering the traditional way of fishing, on board on our authentic Maldivian dhoni.
Try your hand with fishing lines, tackle and bait and catch one if you can! Reef fish such as Grouper, Snapper, Squirrel Fish, Skip Jack Tuna and Barracuda are bountiful and our chefs will be delighted to prepare your catch to your liking for lunch the next day.
