Available for children 5 to 12 years old, our Jimba Club offers fun, discovery and entertainment. Every day features a different theme – from “Pirates of Jimba” and “Master Chef” to the “Castaway” beach day. The Jimba Club provides a safe and welcoming place for our young guests to relax, celebrate the gentle Balinese culture through interactive activities, and just have fun.
Children age 4 and under are welcome when accompanied by a parent or an adult guardian. All open-water activities are subject to good weather and parental approval (waiver required). Lunch is available from the Sundara menu for an additional charge. Child care services are available for a fee, with 24 hours’ notice.

Then head to one of the best surfing beaches where an accredited instructor will show you how to ride the waves, whatever your level of experience. Head out on a scenic two-hour drive to the village of Jatiluwih, situated high in the heart of the island. Enjoy a Four Seasons picnic with a spectacular view of terraced rice fields with majestic Mount Batukaru in the background. When the weather is clear, you can also see southern Bali and the Indian Ocean. Explore the beauty of Bali on bike! Get your bodies moving and your hearts pumping on a bike tour of the Tegal Wangi area, located on a hill above the Resort, where you can see the beauty of the local Jimbaran neighbourhood. Meet at the Spa. Plan a sunset visit to one of Bali’s grandest temples – first built in the 11th century – perched on a cliff above the sea. The temple is also home to a large population of curious monkeys. Kecak dance performances take place each evening. On-site Jimbaran Bay Cooking Academy offers daily classes designed to appeal to novice and experienced chefs alike. In our state-of-the-art facility, learn the secrets of Indonesian regional cuisine. Have fun on Jimbaran Beach with a variety of non-motorized water sports. Take a Hobie Cat out on your own or have one of our friendly team give you sail around the bay. Other options include bodyboards, windsurfing, ocean kayaks and stand-up paddleboarding. Or you might just choose to laze away an afternoon in our private Coconut Grove. The Resort is justifiably famous for lush gardens spread across our expansive property. Meet one of our chief gardeners for a walking tour around the grounds and learn about some of the 200+ indigenous plant species. Blending with the waters of beautiful Jimbaran Bay, our Infinity Pool is set on a spacious stone terrace, providing plenty of room for lounge chairs and umbrellas. The quiet ambience is ideal for adults. Four Seasons attendants offer complimentary amenities, such as ice cream, fresh fruits, water, cold towels and sunscreen. You may also request refreshments and snacks from the adjoining Pool Terrace Café. At Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, the aerobics studio features a sprung floor, and the gym is equipped with free weights, along with state-of-the-art cardiovascular machines that have their own TV monitors. Delicious local food is one of Bali’s most famous attractions, and now you can take home the authentic flavours of Indonesian cuisine, thanks to the Jimbaran Bay Cooking Academy. Four Seasons is the only resort on the island with a stand-alone cooking school – offering classes for novice and experienced chefs, as well as kids!
The Jimbaran Bay Cooking Academy gives you a hands-on opportunity to learn about the secret techniques and distinctive ingredients of Indonesian cuisine in a full professional-quality facility. The recipes are sourced from our team of Four Seasons chefs who come from various regions across Indonesia.
Taking a cooking class is also fun for an interactive family activity. Once a week, the school offers a kids’ pastry class, focusing on Indonesian desserts.
After an optional tour of the Jimbaran Fish Market at 8:00 am, students gather in the kitchen at 9:30 am to create a full five-course meal, according to traditional menus representing Bali, Java, Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi and Sumatra. There are six menus (including two different Bali menus), rotating on a daily basis, seven days per week. Ask the Concierge for details on scheduling.
Special pricing is available when booking multiple sessions, starting at IDR 900,000 per class. Classes are taught in English only and are open to a maximum of 10 participants. Non-resort guests are welcome to attend with advance reservation. All graduates receive an official certificate of achievement, as well as copies of the recipes in a beautiful hand-drawn booklet.
Housed within its own stand-alone building, the Jimbaran Bay Cooking Academy features a charming stone-paved courtyard and herb garden at its entrance. Enormous glass doors lead into the air-conditioned kitchen, equipped with gleaming state-of-the-art appliances and a large, kidney-shaped, black granite preparation unit with induction hot plates. Sample your creations at the communal dining table or outdoors in the shaded courtyard.
For art lovers, our on-site Ganesha Gallery exhibits local or international artists who have a connection between East and West, and a definite eye towards the beauty of Bali. Relax in quiet comfort at the Resort’s Activity Centre, where guests can enjoy books, magazines and international newspapers.
