Known internationally as one of the world's best scuba diving destinations, the Maldives has an abundance of dive sites with one thrilling dive opportunity after another. The waters surrounding Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, home to Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru, have consistently warm waters with outstanding visibility. The Resort’s Island Tennis Court is located on its own private isle. A one-minute boat ride across the lagoon, the exterior all-weather, night-lit court offers private lessons, FITennis Group Sessions for up to six people, Mini Tennis for kids, plus complimentary play and
equipment with 360 degree Indian Ocean views. At Kuda Huraa, unforgettable land and water diversions beckon. The Water Sports Centre offers a wide range of group and individual activities to suit all age groups and nterests. Non-motorised activities such as kayaking and windsurfing are complimentary. Motorised activities such as water skiing and parasailing are available for an applicable charge.

Parasailing (solo or tandem)
The lagoon on the island's sunrise side is shallow and home to coral reefs, making it ideal for snorkelers. On the sunset side, the water is deeper and ideal for swimming.
Cruise by dhoni to a nearby coral reef and explore the underwater world with one of our marine experts. On the way back, enjoy tea and snacks at sea while engaging in a fish talk with our marine expert. The excursion takes about an hour and a half. Snorkelling experience is required. Reel in a big tuna, sailfish or mahi mahi from the 16.7-metre (55-foot) High Flyer, a sport fishing boat designed especially for big-game fishing on the high seas. Unmatched by any other boat in the area, the luxuriously furnished High Flyer features an 81-centimetre (32-inch) flat-screen television, bluetooth speaker and other advanced amenities. Set lunches are served on-board. Guests may choose a full-day (eight-hour), or half-day (four-hour) charter package. Take a short speedboat ride to a nearby island for a thrilling two-hour guided snorkelling encounter with shoals of blacktip reef sharks and whitetip reef sharks. A friendly tip from us – do not feed the sharks.
Then, head back to the Resort, where are our marine biologists are available for a discussion on the biology of sharks and their importance to the Maldivian waters, as well as the threats facing their species. Snorkelling experience is required.
Whizz above the ocean like a Marvel comic book hero with our brand new X-Jetpacks – the latest evolution in hydro-flight jetpack technology. Each 45-minute session includes beach training, which should enable pilots to reach a level of free flight (get completely out of the water). Put in a bit of practise and you could soon be flying up to 10 metres, completing Yaw turns, flying backwards and diving up to 5-metres underwater!
No age restrictions apply – if you can do a turtle roll in the water while wearing the Jetpack you’re eligible to have a go. We even offer shuttle flights for guests who require additional assistance (anything to have another go ourselves!)
This cooking class will take you on a short journey through the rich culinary heritage of India and the Maldives. It’s fun and casual, and lunch is included. A private cruiser takes you across the atoll for a picnic on a small island or a sliver of sand, lost in an azure sea – the perfect setting for a romantic celebration or a family day out. Snorkel amongst brilliantly coloured corals, go fishing or simply relax in the shade of your tent. Hundreds of dolphins live in the waters near Kuda Huraa. Join one of our marine biologists for a short briefing on this fascinating marine animal, then hop on board a speedboat and cruise into the sunset, watching schools of dolphins swimming around you. This excursion takes about 2 hours. The Maldives' 1,190 islands feature countless sandbanks and reef tops where you can enjoy unlimited land or sea activities – snorkel at isolated reefs, visit traditional Maldivian villages or relax in private on a deserted sandbank.
Our 16.7-metre (55-foot) luxury sports cruiser, Landaa Summer, allows you to island-hop in comfort. Its easy sea access makes for effortless snorkelling or swimming from the back of the boat, while the air-conditioned salon with flat-screen television provides comfortable relaxation in the heat of the day. Set lunches are served on board.
A leisurely jog around the island at dawn or dusk is one of the best ways to view Kuda Huraa's amazing vistas, where the sea meets the sky. Jogging maps are available. Imagine spending a day on a deserted, palm-fringed tropical island with family or friends. From Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, take a seaplane to a small, postcard-perfect island surrounded by a vibrant coral reef and a shallow, sandy lagoon. As our staff prepares a barbecue, you may snorkel, relax or stroll around the island in total privacy. At the end of the day, the seaplane will fly you back to Kuda Huraa in time for your evening meal.
Kuda Huraa’s Marine Discovery Centre (MDC) is an interactive research and education centre that introduces guests and local school children alike to the role we can each play in conserving the local and global marine ecosystem. The Centre features audiovisual presentations on specific areas of conservation close to the Kuda Huraa team’s heart, including turtles, coral reefs, sharks and dolphins.
The MDC is the starting point for the Resort’s Turtle and Shark Snorkel Safaris, Dolphin Cruises and Coral Reefscaping activities. It is also the headquarters of
the Maldivian Sea Turtle Conservation Programme and features two rearing pools for baby sea turtles.
Guests can visit www.marinesavers.com to keep upto-date on all marine conservation plans and projects, as well as follow satellite-tagged turtles. The Recreation Centre offers a wide selection of engaging family activities and excursions including windsurfing, waterskiing (skis for 6 years and above), dolphin cruises, sunset fishing, guided reef snorkelling, shark snorkel safaris, island excursions, sandbank picnics, private boat trips, kayaking, tennis, Indian cooking classes and table tennis. The Water Sports Centre offers a wide range of group and individual activities. Non-motorized activities are complimentary and include kayaking, snorkeling, windsurfing, and catamaran sailing. Lessons in windsurfing and sailing can be given by VDWScertified instructors on request. Additional motorized activities such as water-skiing, parasailing, banana boating, jet skiing, Seabobs and fun tubes are available at a charge.
As part of the Kids for All Seasons programme, the Kuda Mas Kids Club gives guests aged 4 to 12 the opportunity to learn more about the Maldivian island way of life through a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, creative crafts and games.
Activities include junior yoga, cooking classes, kite making, baby turtle monitoring and treasure hunts. Open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.
Above the Gym, the bright and spacious air conditioned library features a great selection of books in many languages available on loan, as well as a selection of international magazines and newspapers. Lava Lounge is equipped with board games and iMac computer terminals with complimentary Internet access. The Resort’s in-house doctor is also a specialist in dive medicine and is on-call 24 hours. The fresh water infinity pool has been designed in harmony with its tropical setting. A shallow wading pool stretches into a free-form pool that extends right to the edge of the lagoon.
There is also a separate children’s pool. Located at the island’s southern tip, adjacent to Reef Club.
The Serenity Pool is a secluded, adults-only
sanctuary. Open from 10am to 10pm and serving cocktails and lunch, the freeform pool and spacious wooden deck area features loungers, day beds and over-sea whirlpool. The gym is located on the main floor under the Business Centre. It is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, exercise bikes, rowing and step machines, each with a personal TV and headphones. There are also separate changing rooms for men and women with shower facilities and toiletries.
